Gypsum (Calcium Sulfate Dihydrate) is a naturally occurring mineral sulfate compound that serves as a filling and extending agent in industrial applications. This low-solubility solid material is utilized across agriculture, coatings and construction, and household, industrial, and institutional (HI&I) cleaning sectors for its functional properties as a specialty additive. With a density of 2.32 g/cm³ and very poor water solubility (0.2 g/100ml at 20°C), gypsum provides effective bulk and performance enhancement in formulated products.
