Potassium Citrate (tripotassium citrate monohydrate, K3C6H5O7-H2O) is a white, granular, hygroscopic powder. Food-grade material meets USP and FCC specifications for use as a pH buffering agent, sequestrant, and emulsifying salt in food and beverage formulations. In pharmaceutical applications, it is used as a urinary alkalizer and potassium supplement. Also functions as a chelating agent in industrial cleaning and water treatment. Molecular weight 324.41 g/mol.
